In 2013, following a series of exhibitions on the theme of the private collection, Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli invited Laurence and Patrick Seguin to show their personal collection of pieces by Jean Prouvé. Published to coincide with the exhibition, A Passion for Jean Prouvé, from furniture to architecture is organized into two chapters: the private collection meticulously built up over the years, shown in its everyday setting and then catalogued in detail; and the exhibition itself, assembling nearly 40 pieces of furniture and architectural elements by Jean Prouvé – one-offs or rare pieces. Elegantly and meticulously laid out, the book is lavishly illustrated with plans, drawings and archival and contemporary images.
